One Thousand Museum, Miami, Florida

One Thousand Museum is a high-rise residential condominium recently constructed in Miami, Florida, designed by renowned architect Zaha Hadid. As featured in The Discovery channel's "Impossible Builds" documentary, the tower is one of the most complex and technologically advanced high-rise construction projects in the world.
The entire structural envelope of the building was manufactured in The United Arab Emirates and required shipping to Miami for final assembly and erection. The Ayton Group was tasked with complete logistical management of the project including the shipping of nearly 4,000 tons of glass reinforced concrete panels (450 x 40ft High Cube Containers). The sensitive nature of the product required design of optimised cradles and development of a gravity loading/off-loading system. The logistical element of the project proved to be a tremendous success with zero defect service.

"This is the first skyscraper in the world to utilise Glass Reinforced Concrete Panels as permanent formwork. The Ayton Group was fully responsible for the transport and distribution management of all product from the Middle East and played an instrumental part in the success of the project".....DEVELOPER OTM.
